Anatomy

Dr. Ibiyeye Kehinde Muibat is a lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2015 and her Master’s in Anatomy in 2019, both from the University of Ilorin. In 2019, she completed her PhD in Medical Biotechnology at Universiti Putra Malaysia, where her research focused on the effects of doxorubicin/thymoquinone-loaded calcium carbonate nanoparticles on breast cancer cell lines.

Dr. Ibiyeye’s research interests lie in Cell and Cancer Biology, with a particular focus on understanding the unique factors in African populations that influence the clinical presentation and outcomes of cancers, especially breast and gynecological cancers. She is currently 100 level MBBS level adviser. She has to her credit publications in reputable outlets covering journals and edited conference proceedings. Dr Ibiyeye is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
