Folashade Susan Lewu, is a Lecturer I in the Department of Anatomy at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University if Ilorin. Her research interests is in neuroscience, majorly neurotoxicity and developmental biology in association with roles and importance of astrocytes in health and disease.
Lewu has received Awards such as the CV Raman Fellowship for African Researchers, International Society for Neurochemistry – Committe for Aid and Education in Neurochemistry (ISN-CAEN) Fellowship Award.
She has published in reputable journals and edited conference proceedings. She has successfully supervised over 20 Bachelor’s dissertations. Dr. Lewu is a member of The Anatomical and Neuroscience Societies locally, nationally, and internationally.
