Senior Lecturer

Anatomy

Dr. Rukayat Jaji-Sulaimon is a Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. She teaches courses in the undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Anatomy as well as the Master of Science in Anatomy programmes. She also takes doctoral students through course works in the Doctor of Philosophy in Anatomy programme.  Her research interests are in Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience and Anatomical Sciences Education.

She is involved, as a Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences Representative, in the planning of the Community Based Experience and Service (COBES) for medical students in the preclinical levels. Dr. Jaji-Sulaimon has also served on various Faculty Board of Examiners in the University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, playing table tennis and watching football.
