Biography

Prof. Moyosore Salihu Ajao of the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. I hold the following degrees of MB;BS, M.Sc., MPA., and Ph.D. in Neuroanatomy from University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. I served as Acting Head of Department and presently, the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, a member of the senate of the University. My research interest lies in understanding the responses of the brain to various toxins and insults, and Forensic Anthropology for crime and populations identifications.

I am a recipient of several grants, attended many conferences where he has presented lead papers. I have published over 100 journal articles in reputable journal. I have trained over 30 master degree holders and graduated 13 Ph.D. degree holders. I am a certified accreditor to National Universities Commission and Medical Council of Nigeria. I am a seasoned Examiner at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
