Prof.  Adeoye Oyetunji Oyewopo is an astute Professor of Anatomy in the department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. He bagged B.Sc. (Hons) in Anatomy from the University of Ilorin (1999), M.Sc. at the University of Lagos (2003) and Ph.D. at the Lagos State University, Lagos (2014). Prof. Oyewopo has won many research and travel grants, including TEDFUND (USA 2015), University Senate Grant (2010), TREND (Uganda 2011), Institutional Research grant IBR (2019), Society for Reproduction and Fertility (SRF) in United Kingdom among others. He has visited several Universities and Institutes abroad for research activities and collaboration, such as the John Hopkins University, Harvard University (USA), Huddersfield University in England and Bangalore Fertility Center, India. He has held many academic and administrative positions in the department, faculty and university including Postgraduate Coordinator (2012-2016), Head of Department of Anatomy (2017-2019), etc. He is a member of many professional bodies with high scholarly output of over 100 scientific papers in local, national and international reputable journals. He mentors and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as examined many B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. Students. He is an external assessor for professorial cadre and member of the NUC ad-hoc Accreditation Panel to several Universities.
